This year I had the pleasure to visit the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco - the biggest event of the industry, with hundreds of presentations, panels, round-table talks in diverse fields. More than 20 thousand people attend the conference - so it is definitely one of the biggest. There were many super-interesting presentations. Here comes two of them I had the chance to see:
Evolving Serious Games: The Confluence of Cognitive Computing and Gameplay to Solve Complex Problems (Presented by IBM)
Wednesday, March 4 | 9:30am - 10:30am
Speaker: Phaedra Boinodiris (IBM)
A View from the White House: Games Beyond Entertainment
Friday, March 6 | 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Speaker: Mark DeLoura (White House Office of Science & Technology Policy)
Apart from presentations I had to chance the meet legends of the game industry, to see amazing indie projects and all the VR goodies yet to come.
